@thepixierey I wouldn’t say there’s an acceptable time since it would depend on you, but being able to at least stay consistent with an art style that you’re satisfied with would be a good start!

This is a glaring contradiction. If localizers were truly trying to translate a work as accurately as possible, they wouldn't be consulting with sensitivity readers for their opinion on what's acceptable, they'd be following the original script.
