Both games have Chaos as a background character in the plot, both expand on Shadow's story, and in Sonic Battle, Rouge briefly mistakes Gamma for Omega. The PC version of Sonic Heroes came with cursors made of Sonic Battle sprites, yet also has Big, Omega and the Chaotix.

Yup, it's Charmy Bee. Even though many people find him annoying, I always thought Charmy was a very good kid. He has this positive energy that no other character has and, even though he's young, he has shown in multiple ocassions that he's also a valuable member of the Chaotix
