Colouring remains the worst. My process is generally - do b/w tones to get correct values, shade it, then paint colours with overlay/multiply/screen as needed. But that bleaches the skin in more pigmented lighting, apparently! So gotta darken the tones to not bleach out my boyyy.

I originally planned to use an orange cloth, but after adding the golden details i realized how stupid that idea was. There is probably a way to make that work, but it's outside of my art abilities
I wanna change his skin and maybe darken more his hair(?

Hmm, so I kinda feel the lighting is everywhere and it needs to be more focused. I think if you take advantage of more focused light rays and darken things more on the bottom right/left and right side it could help. I kinda worked something up, sorry for butchering your art. xD

Love lives in lovers living
Lives that lighten heavy loads
Like lamps lighten lonely hearts
To guide down darkened roads

Sponges sit and soak it up
Like a hand that fits a glove
So let the Haters hit and hope

3 with blush in every situation because I like the look, and a 4 with darkened blush when actually embarrassed or flattered

Drawing the lil marks on faces is honestly my favorite part lol
