Like the first LoS mobile, it is a slow platformer consisting of linear mazes for levels. The graphics do their best to carry the entire game, but they don't make things less boring.

Playing the first original Monster Rancher game in about 15 years! It’s only in Japan and uses Line, doubt they could do it outside of Asia.
Graphics are great, and the story about the technology of discs being lost in favor of “friendship” is a fabulous touch.
