Just finished the Sandman on Netflix. First 6 episodes are grrreat, 5 and 6 are compelling with a great villain.

However, the Vortex storyline starting with epis. 7 is sappy kitsch with too many new characters and a messy plot and cheap CGI.

I quickly sketched it out to better explain.
1) I might consider adding in ponytails and bows. It adds to the lolita inspiration plus the pink/purple bows pull the color throughout. Makes it cohesive.
2) Add in another layer (or more) to the dress. Gets the jellyfish vibe going.
