We ended up pushing the design a lot harder after a lot of critiques and suggestions - working a lot of story elements in to the character as we went. I loved the idea that as the creature killed, it took limbs from its victims and would incorporate them into its own body

Rather too good. Filled with pent-up energy after a week of gastric flu enforced rest, now I'm too impatient I have to wait weeks and everyone back at work and caught up with their pre-holiday schedules before I can start pushing my thing and everything else along!
