Sometimes when I think about how much is left and how long it’ll take, I get a little discouraged about the boards I’m working on. But then I try to think about how far it’s come since I started and how much progress has been made, and it helps a little bit lol.

I'm still seeing the sketch--final things going around and a lot of them are using more thumbnails instead of sketches, which can be disheartening.
I go through a LOT of sketch layers.
The journey to any picture is different for everyone so don't be discouraged.

I think a good plot should have lots of entry points, where someone can read the latest episode and want to learn more instead of being discouraged from reading more. That means introducing new characters as one-off jokes a lot, instead of punishing new readers who are behind.

But I look at these, which were both made in august of their respective years, and I know I'm actually making progress.
