One and done on 🐸Drainus, a surprisingly great shmup from a studio that's mostly done Metroidvania's up til now. It's visually really pops, has interesting mechanics, and a nicely balanced difficulty. I'm not entirely sure about playing for score/scoring mechanics admittedly >>
terms of the divine contract are no match for these two “rival” gods ty @OffbeatOutlaw for giving me the best complication in Paperwork Pantheon and ty @sirussly for visually bringing them to life
I only got back into YGO earlier this year, but my favorite thing about it has to be the range of styles for archetypes and how they differ visually
Starting August Early by Posting a Preview of Next months content... VISUALLY! All of the art I share is SFW- I know, I was surprised as well.
You can see what's in store right now over on 🧡 P@tre0n - Link in the Pins! 📌
Released in 1989, Stormlord on #amiga features some exquisite #pixelart by Mark K. Jones. It's a huge upgrade over the already-impressive C64 version, resulting in one of the most visually impressive games available for the machine at that time #RETROGAMING
Just a polite reminder that @VidasSalavejus has released Timore Redo.
It's visually stunning.
It's got great fps gameplay.
It's got horror.
Go play it now!

@LylaMorningstar @Patches2212 Im a Noble Spirit! In your realm those are referred to as gods :D
Im passive as long as you don’t touch me! But as the Spirit of language if you do hurt me, just talking in tongues will do you in :(
I am visually impaired though (and short) so maybe you could get the upper hand
@trusumless It is when theres no super powers no super natural anything not a single even passable design nothing interesting or unique and it all looks hideous and lacking in any substance or appeal visually or otherwise
i picked these two because they're visually comparable to each other (close up of two faces) and gawddamn i definitely got better at colors LMAOOOOOO https://t.co/9DqQjfqMVo
@GRCinemaTicket #ApocalypseNow Visually incomparable.
And perhaps Bob Peak's best movie poster. A few of Peak's developmental studies and a photo of the original art, from my Step-By-Step Graphics article about his work.
The breadth of Merce Lopez's art stuns us! Here are 2 recent #picturebooks she's illustrated and so very different visually--and both wonderful!
(WIP)
I wanted to go with the original idea, but this feels a lot more "visually appealing"
Been hearing a lot about the use of AI in design and illustration recently, thought i'd see what all the fuss is about and had a play with Midjourney. Could be a really useful tool for visually ideating – these are some I did including the @atomhawk #forgottencreation prompt.
The first visually impaired character OTD is Lilith Clawthorne from The Owl House! She is canonically visually impaired and canonically aroace (she/her)
There is a lot of talk of video game graphics right now…so I just wanted to say that these games are home to some of the most visually pleasing and beautiful video game graphic art styles I’ve ever seen.
‘A White Rose in Bloom’ by Asumiko Nakamura was such an elegant and visually stunning piece of work. I really enjoyed the smooth translation here too. Hoping to read the next volumes soon! Highly recommended for everyone but especially if you like Yuri/GL! 🫶🏼🤍
#メジロバナの咲く
The second visually impaired character OTD is Mod 19 from Komaeda Love Mail! He is canonically visually impaired and canonically MLM (he/him)
@classic_brush Here's my piece of the art telephone game!
I think the biggest challenge for any of these is picking a pose that is visually appealing, but also shows off all of the character's accessories.
The greyscale version was then handed off to @sparradile !
Just finished the Popeye animatic.
It isn’t perfect, I think the biggest problem was just some blatant modern references here and there. But even then, it was few and far between.
As a whole, it’s truly Genndy’s love letter to the character and would’ve visually looked great.
@DaRealMan67 visually these characters are clipart. they are simple objects with faces and arms. While writing backs these characters up, their designs are VERY simple. You cannot be a sane person if you are going to convince me that this took quite a bit of brain power for someone to design
