I threw out my construction method and tried something completely different, it's now faster and a lot easier for me

Comparing to two, I can see I need to work on the torso but I also like how things feel a little more stylized, even with roughs

I have some older designs here, which should give you an idea but I’m tweaking them a bit just to make them easier to draw (like getting rid of the four arms thing altogether probably)
And they might get a full-on moth form? I’m torn lol

10) Traditional or Digital?
Digital! Traditional is nice for sketchbooks and gifts, but digital is where it's at for me. Easier to get the colours I want, too!

Twitter will murder this .gif but hopefully it's good enough to give you an idea. I've finished the poses for the Lt Cdr, Quinn so it's onto the rest of the cast. She's got the most poses of all the characters so hopefully it's a lot easier from here.
