Its probably time I give you guys an update on mother 3 comic thingy. This is wip cover (I plan to add more characters). The backgroundless version is for when I will eventually resize the characters onto the background.

I don’t like the background...it looks good more or less by itself but how I paint people vs landscapes just don’t mesh well... also I struggle with planning out a background... any advice from fellow artists?

To get through Zoom meetings, I actually found GTA San Andreas ideal to play in the background. 😁 I only have to have a little bit of my attention on the game. And I won't become bored or sleepy, no matter how boring the conversation in the meeting gets. 😋

I watched some tutorials how to paint nebulas and space with watercolors, so now everything and everyone (including Lalah Sune) will have that as background. 🤷

Made some edits after the fact. Gave him a lighter background for normal coloring in the original pic, and gave a slightly red filter for the sunset background. I think it looks better this way. :3
