This 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of a timeless romantic classic, The Way We Were. There are two books out chronicling the making of this film, The Way They Were, by Robert Hofler and TWWW, the making of a romantic classic by Tom Santopietro. Have you heard of any of them?
1⃣I prefer my superhero media in OLDER animation or original CLASSIC comic book form. In most modern live action superhero stuff they try too hard to make things "realistic" to the point where it looses A LOT of it's charm.⬇️
@applefablesart I wish I majored in illustration, a lot of what I know is self taught in terms of making comics. I did take some life drawing classes in college though but only a few. Getting this book sometime soon I hope it helps me out to get better. Have you read this book?
genuinely in quite a bad mood cause of my class, i do a concept art course and we have to design three fantasy characters. one of r guidelines is to heavily reference a blizzard artist, and tell me this isn’t the most shit repetitive art ever. THEY MADE ME CHANGE MY DESIGN TOO !!
