I like to dress up characters with simple black and white outfit but then add smth like this jacket thats gonna POP with all these eyecatching colors !!
Oh yeah and I LOVE big dot shapped eyebrows !

I’d do it this way: Take the main shapes of the idea, divide them in sections, add extra lines to add the illusion of more detail that are easy to remember and that won’t have to look at a reference to get right and boom!

Still detailed looking but not nearly as painful :)
