Working on a metal shader for ' character where vertex colours are used to control where highlights and AO appear and then combined with edited normals. Cool way to implement more stylised shading. Render with lineart in comments plus preview of the vertex colours :D

2020 throwback (4/?)

This year I tried many brushes to achieve different textures on my works. Throughout most of the year, I kept with the watercolor brushes for the shading and highlights but currently I'm also experimenting with the Indian ink brushes.

Cutout filter on photoshop + rough highlights/shadows, then overlay them till they look nice I guess😅honestly just ran over an old render in about 10 mins, doesn't feel legit at all haha
