My Hexblade Warlock (Cossri) was based on the whole premise of a Mysterious Deal Maker/Wish Maker guised as a merchant. Some influences for this were Happy Mask Salesman from Zelda, and Gaunter O Dimm from the Witcher 3. That and some old folk tales about Deals w/ the Devil.
