Valkyrie Profile (1999) for PS1. One of my favorite games of all time. I love the battle system and the platforming areas. Gorgeous sprites and backgrounds, amazing music, and an epic story that got me into Norse mythology.

Stripped him right back, he’s not a fancy boy. He’s a scruffy fast boy. Instead of the big plumes he’s now got emu-like feathers that clump in various areas around his body (you can’t see it here, but he’s also got a ravens ‘beard’)
