There's a lot of frustrating aspects about HNK, but it's something I've come to appreciate for its overall cultural impact and the over-the-top and campy masculine aesthetics. That said DD HNK is fucking hilarious because it recognizes the frustrating elements and satirizes them.

Aogami/Touma/Fukiyose interaction are still great, just « normal moment » like this between story is refreshing

i've been working some more on this one, defining it a bit more, trying to see how i can make it more interesting. I am so glad my mind just jumped to foreground elements, which i didn't use much until now. I feel like the accent color of the spider lilies is very nice as well.

My D4C design will use the good ol' pale blue and pink color palette with addition of dark purple shoulder balls to keep the contrast of the black and white manga. Shueisha colored it pink like other light elements of the design so you'd never expect it to be drawn as pitch black
