I find like 90% of the time this method does work that people mentioned: Go to edit and set the crop on the relevant ratio but then just back out of it without saving (since that crop actually cuts the rest off).

On the other hand, I really think FF helped me vastly improve my methods and speed with some stuff? Especially with creatures, where I learned where scales may or may not be wanted, or act more as clutter!
