Kojiro met Sabonea in Houen while the TRio was dealing with a poacher. It took to Kojiro right away and was happy to join, and hug him!

In Sinnoh Sabonea was starting to learn Drain Punch. Unfortunately Kojiro wasn’t able to help it perfect it, so he gave his friend up. 😭
