Update: added color! Took a while of messing around with overlay filters until the colors started to look right on her ‘^^

Definitely gonna try and practice grayscale more in art I’m thinking of doing,,

It's immediately reminiscent, to those keen-eyed few, of the scene in Vagrant Story where Grissom is coming to terms with the fact that he's possessing his own corpse, and he hears a voice speaking to him. The overlayed text effect looks and is used in the exact same manner.

here is a little speedpaint! i do find it mildly inconveniencing that the time is divided per strokes instead of following time actually spent on each step - i didn’t spend that long on the foliage but easily spent 30 minutes on the lighting overlays lmao
