I know of a book called Dungeons and Drawings which has loads of monsters paired with amazing character designs, don’t know if it’s a replacement for a proper monster manual though

If I had one issue with the Shantae games (and most of Wayforward's IPs), it's that they really only have like 1 body type for their girl characters.
Which is a shame cause I really like the designs, just wish there was a bit more variety.

Just watched Voogie’s Angel, a 90s sci-fi OVA. A bit conflicted with this one — some nice character designs, slick-looking mecha and, at times, the animation is *very* fluid. But it's only 3 eps and has one of the worst cases of unfinished OVA plotlines I’ve seen in a while...
