Highschool-era vs recent art

I don't actually have any of my drawings from HS, but luckily a friend happened to keep a photo of the stuff I gave them. Man, it's been a long, long time.

i started hs in 2012 but i cant find anything older than 2013 so clearly past me wanted to purge all that HAHAHA
they are the same character............

i started hs in 2011 and uhh deleted my art folders before 2013 probably for a good reason so left is a drawing i did in 2013 i think i was 15
