Sometimes I seriously regret making AstralSounds a full color comic. It takes a lot more time than B+W or limited palette would.

But my color skill has drastically improved because of it, and some of the final pages look quite nice if I do say so myself

have been using 3D models to help me with shapes/anatomy in general the last few months. these were both drawn with no refs and i can personally see an improvement, i haven't struggled as badly with getting the shapes right as i usually do👁️

Totally improvised creature, although I think my unconscious had something to do with it, I don't know and we will never know, also think that the fact that I was rewatching the history of the silent hill games inspired by the art of the Master
Influenced this creature.

A lot of hard work went into fixing many aspects of the novel, and more improvement is still to come! If you've already read the novel long ago I highly recommend giving it another go.

Oh and Smol Ali appears in chapter 7, so you know what to work toward ya simps.🥺💜
