After Trailer 2, the Pyro received bones that would connect the Flamethrower to the Back-Tank. The bones were later removed, possibly before the I.R. era, judging by the Spy's textures. The bones only exist on the Primary Aimmatrices.

first off a quick thing about custom textures: since daggerfall does some sort of color indexing colors wont appear exactly as they do on the texture file, i imagine theres more "proper" ways to work with this but i just did this for a fun experiment and it works good enough :}
@MrSnipz The game loads the character textures and weapon textures overlaping them. That way the hand get the texture from the character texture file and the weapon part from the weapon texture file. The 3rd image is what the games get by overlaping the 2 textures.

Here's a spore blossom! This one was interesting to make, at first I made what the in-game model looked like by layering the petals on top of eachother, then I went back to make new textures that kept that effect while getting rid of the messy geometry.

I got to use brushes provided to me by ProBrush Z and I had a lot of fun with them! The textures were so great and there is so much you can do with them! I just went crazy with them and brought this lovely to life. ❤
