What's the most niche, underrepresented subgenre you love?
For me, I think it's the movie where Godzilla comes back as a zombie. The undead kaiju subgenre is tiny, but that was a good movie with a ridiculously long title.
Both Romancing SaGa and SaGa Frontier owe their visual style to two women: character designer Tomomi Kobayashi and sprite designer Kazuko Shibuya.
Their skill made the SaGa series earn an unique, inimitable style that represented the best of Squaresoft. Play them.
I feel that Dia and Ran are the only ones that really makes sense for Amu. Dia is her inner sparkle, but also shows more or less Amu's true self. That's why Dia being corrupted and turning into an X egg was so important. It represented Amu being confused and lost.
