Sketch and WIP recap. I start out in tones and build my light up from that. I also flip my canvas 300 thousand times to check consistency. I integrate the sketch as I go, merge all layers to one (I prefer minimal layers), do final edits and floaty glows and extra bits last.

If you want lots of character I should be a good option! I usually do complex backgrounds but maybe a galaxy background can be minimal enough? But I think I can work with someone more abstract too

Today we finished the Rocket Launcher Top lesson. This time I tried finishing the whole thing without the help from the tutorial, using everything I have learned so far. Completed the project with minimal help with the knowledge I retained over the course.
