At the rare sight of Aina being unable to calm down the beast, one of the institute's maids, Nia, promised to follow the creature into the woods and bring her back driven by a sudden stroke of compassion for the cat- like creature which reminded her so much of herself.
I love it when I can say what I want to say in just a few strokes. No more needed on this arm

Felt like doing another one of these studies before hopping back into Unity to finish up the VR world project. Every brushstroke I add tends to generate visual noise so I used tons of filters to remove it. Magic wand selections are kind of amazing when you don't use antialiasing.

@pillsburygooboy @kereruuu Yeah long strokes are hard... oh here is an example of what I mean. You can see how scratchy it is... but like I said I'm trying to just turn it into a straight up style but towing the like between sketch work and finished work is stuff to figure out. This one isn't line work tho
Beautiful lady resting on the floor, her blushing is so timid and cute!!💁 The stroke pressure and the flow of the ink lines are flawless✨

The drawings of Lilian Westcott Hale (1880-1963)- veiled in a soft haze, the product of a technique based on thousands of wispy vertical strokes. In "The Boston Painters", R. H. Ives Gammell says "Her portraits fascinate as revelations of character".
