山種美術館で「奥村土牛　山崎種二が愛した日本画の巨匠 第2弾」。1893年に生まれ、16歳で梶田半古に入門。兄弟子である小林古径のもとで研鑽を積んだ日本画の巨匠。1983年に101歳で亡くなるまでの代表作の多くを所蔵するこの美術館ならではの展覧会。創業者と画家の交流を示す作品の数々も展示。
