For one, the floor tiles are just taken from the original 1992 game, but with even fewer colors for some reason. A lot of things were given darker outlines for some reason, and a lot of art was made flatter, less colorful and less detailed.

Updated my Sakura (street fighter) painting. Something about the sketchiness of the original (right) wasn’t really working for me. Lately I’ve been using a saturated colors for outlines and they look so much more appealing😘

I don't always do it but my favorite part is adding like a double outline in different colors, or just extra outlines and little dots.

Sooo... the Inverted Hull Method to create Outlines generally gave some mixed results. I think I'm on the right path now? The goal was to only outline the silhouette, like for a sticker.

Changed the way I do eyes and lashes (more detailed, thicker, and defined)
Learned a better way to draw fur in colors (no more outlined markings)

Lately I've been playing with:
• seraphim, where seraphim = creature + wings + many eyes
• flat colours, no outlines
• simplified palettes
• humanoid heads on pretty much everything

LOOK I found the model used for Rynea (Lora's mom)!!
(With an outline around it because clip studio can put outlines around 3D models, & I thought it looked cool)

She's adorable, her eyes are so pretty, and I'm happy to finally have a proper reference of her
