I love that game. With many arcade games we wish the C64 could have just a passable version. But this is like Q*Bert, only much much better. (IMHO of course.) And has gorgeous cartoon-y sprites. 👍

@AppealVic Mappy Land feels more "back-to-basics" and was the only Mappy to be released in the US back in the day. I guess Namco thought their first sequel, "Hopping Mappy", was too different for a Famicom port, a game where the cop mouse and cat gang are on pogo sticks collecting charms.
