When people say "Fire Emblem is too anime now" they tend to back up their arguments with comparisons like these with characters of COMPLETELY different design philosophies, when in actuality characters with similar positions have maintained their philosophies the entire time. 🧵

“Life After Death” watercolor & ink 2016. Life after death is a spiritual mystery that has always been very personal to me. I wanted to convey this in a simple form free from religious beliefs, figures, or complex compositions and bring it down to the elements of nature itself.

After studying his art for most of my life, I think I prefer HR Gigers ruddy fleshscapes and acidic heaps over his slick biomechanical works. Those compositions are far more provocative.

The ideas for her color compositions never ends, I get hugely inspired by it. When I'm struggling to find a color that could go well with let’s say green, I go to her website and look what she did and I instantly get an idea, it’s amazing.
