I've been thinking a lot about Jacen Burrows' work on PROVIDENCE recently. It's some of the best storytelling I've ever seen - the subtlety of the framing to create unease, the *constant* interplay between foreground and background elements, and the fluidity of movement.
@arvalis its a toss up between these two; the first cos i actually did some background elements, and the second cos it was just fun to do :)
No.12 #LibraryTop50 @EmmaDodd2 works with big shapes and flat, textured colours, with occasional collage elements, to create warm, intimate stories for very young children. Her hit books include solo titles and partnerships with writer Giles Andreae

9) Aside from being an Italian magical girl series w/ 5 mc's that get wings, the stories couldn't be more different. Winx is literally a high fantasy mixed w/ scifi elements, whereas WITCH is more of an urban fantasy that drew more inspo from classic medieval fantasy.
Next Trails game to feature battle system with action elements, “largely different” cast of characters https://t.co/8hwgjgutB5

Art from fanciful 1970s Belgian comic, Roze Bottel (French: Olivier Rameau). (“Roze Bottel” is Dutch for “rose hip”.)
Loved it as a kid. It had sci-fi & fantasy elements, dewy hippie love, a hint of soft-porn, and a general “anything goes” mentality that made the stories fun.
@northernplunder I think On A Sunbeam by @TillieWalden is a slam dunk here. A space fantasy, lesbian love story, weird horror elements, a cool cat...plus it's epic, amazing and genius.

@Jamo_ART Technically, as long as you don't do any animals(aside from reptiles, that would make you a scalie), you could do "anthro" art of non-living things, like elements, objects, abstract concepts, etc.
Like anthropomorphic money for example:
Seven years ago today we helped rewrite history with the release of @CapcomUSA_'s DuckTales Remastered! With extra levels and story elements, it was an updated version of one of the 8-bit greats.
Apparently its #TailAppreciationDay
PEOPLE SHOULD TELL ME THESE THINGS AHEAD OF TIME, but I, the Tailvatar will keep the world safe with the power of the four elements, Fluffy, Scaley, Fleshy and Gooey.

It has been a very, very good summer for her.
The elements, optimism, and the balm of nature are proving to be more popular than ever.

All the elements, living together in harmony. 🔥 https://t.co/9Gyd90GDlS
@HutchenceD @PanScoli Wings, pecs, or even butt or bulge if you’re on the sub 6’ tall side. Crowding round him for shelter from the elements, he doesn’t mind.
