J'aime bien la fin choisie pour l'anime, elle aurait pu constituer une belle conclusion pour le manga. On ne saura sans doute jamais si elle était fidèle au projet des Clamp... Cependant, je pense qu'elle rend un peu moins frustrant l'abandon du manga.
