@electron_greg To be fair, you need 16k of sideways RAM on the Elk, so the best device to play it probably is an ElkSD64, which I what I used to play it here on real hardware. It runs at amazing speed. I couldn't believe it! Here is how it looks! But hell I love the Elk, so does @hardistymark!

I gave up on keeping the old hardware up and running.. mostly coz I'm lazy. 😋 But it's good to know that I can still find the occasional software failure, even in emulation. (My one was Defender of the Crown.)
@CertifiedIdi0t My favourite thing about it was how clearly it was inspired by the X series design of Zero - unfortunately it was just too ambitious to work on the GBA's hardware.
