I've read 4 vols of the LN and while I wouldn't say this was a notably bad adaptation, it really just highlighted the issues I have with this series; namely how bland the romantic chemistry between the main 2 is and how shit of a character Amane is.

To make and clarify a point, hating Nazis isn't bad. The problem is that people, like this, are usually the ones to randomly call others Nazis, over even the slightest disagreements. The "everyone I don't like is Hitler" complex.
