Mephiles the Dark is probably never coming back (shame really. STH 2K6 was profoundly awful but there’s potential to be found in the character — beyond the fact that his arc is over). That said, he had a very neat design beyond being “Shadow’s shadow” or “Shadow’s crystal shadow”
