We're surprised by how well it performs, and interestingly - the order in which the training data was organised had a significant impact on the final model.

Another training run on the same dataset in a different order didn't garner anywhere near the same consistency of results.

Latter, actually. I needed to make sure this model works in vrchat so I didn't use any shapekeys or drivers, just good old deform bones and rot constraints.
The belly is the densest part of the model.
The green deformer bones you see help hold up its volume like tent posts

Made some attempts at full body inflation using BalloonDiffusion. As previously observed, it can't really do fully rounded out bodies, but still gives some intriguing results. Looking forward to the next iteration of the model.

We re-did Sturm's "ATK" emote with his new model.

Thinking about switching the colors around on his blade... Maybe to match the violet in his eyes/pauldron?
