messing around with the multiply layer (it does a lot more than just help with shadows!) so anyways: lazy piece

2. With a dark, not so saturated purple I do the soft shadows with airbrush, then lower opacity to my desired % in a multiply layer

3. With a dark, not so saturated magenta I do the solid shadows, with a diluted watercolor brush again in another multiply layer (3/4)

How do you typically draw yours? I draw my cum out first, copy it to a layer below it, turn that layer to multiply, use airbrush as an eraser, erase the first layer of cum, and once I’ve done that I make a top overlay layer and darken spots. Like these two here.

and here for example you can also use a multiply overlay using one or more colors! I don't suggest using black. Sometimes a deeper blue or purple or well ANY color may look better! If your character is yellow maybe use an orange or red multiply overlay :)!

I handpick my colors, because I like the control that gives me + allows me to use repeated colors for shadows. I will use multiply layers if I feel stuck, though, and then use them to generate ideas! Here's a side-by-side of my handpicked colors (first) vs multiply layers (rest)

Oh actually there's like some simple shading u could do w/o actually shading, just pile all layers in a folder to that folder, make a new layer that clips down, multiply it and then color it in the middle and blur it, it will kinda look like this.

I've never really shared my shading process:
Everything is done in desaturated purple, set on a multiply layer above my flats. This allows me to not only speed up the process, but concentrate on lights and shadows.
...Also, enjoy the abs lol
