Have many many characters, but I think my most well known is SPARTAN-C009 Melissa.

She became a Spartan because she wanted to be like the ODSTs who saved her when her home was glassed.
Later it was because her team became family.

Weapon of choice? Any shotgun weaponry.

Dabdab the Unggoy. A character I played in a Halo Mythic game. Was originally going to be the tech expert but became the leader of a rag tag group of Humans, Spartans and Sangheili after the mission went mad. Really likes the Needler and listening to human radio broadcasts.

Erika Blake was born on Viko VII where she spent her childhood with Carl before the Covenant attack their colony, both children were saved by Blue Team after their group was ambushed by a platoon of Grunts and Jackals.

Later they were recruited into the Spartan III project
