I get the sense that that's why Starline got shelved, feels like they have to 'reset' so they can put Frontiers stuff in later

Not sure if everybody else has realized it, but despite his apparent death? Starline has a real legacy in now. He brought Eggman back. He created the imposters. He's touched so many characters. And that legacy? Will be felt for a LONG time.

I'm still amazed that IDW actually killed off Starline in the Sonic Comics.

Ian said that there's a chance that he could come back if there's enough fan demand, and while I do think his conclusion was neat, it would be cool if he came back in his beta design

Starline is my favorite IDW Sonic character and one of my all time favorite Sonic characters. And even if the way he went out was good, I don't want this to be the end.

But I’m not gonna be sad. Because the story we got with Starline? It was amazing. From being Eggman’s side-kick, to him becoming his own man, his rise to power and sudden fall. His story was amazing, and his legacy will be felt in the comics.
