a thing I'm hesitant about is separate coloring of parts, because it can look very fitting, but I'm fully aware that giving people that power will lead to some clown shit.

as I said earlier in the thread, color tangents/bleed is a big problem in these books (and 90s comics in general imo). the artist/colorist fails to separate elements/layers effectively for ease of interpretation, which isn't helped when every character has the same color scheme.
