I am a big fan of details. Some years ago I was making some 3D sculpt object with my iPad and then adding glitch patterns and then glitch the frames with details. So, depending on the large picture, but details have a completely different vibes. Especially with 3D and gltiches.

It depends on the "style" I use, generally for anime style I do the base first and then colour on the same level (since I use a blending brush), then add some details with add/multiply levels. For "realistic" drawings it depends, but for those I prefer doing B&W first
