22. Angel of Death by Olivier Grenson & Sylvie Roge (2022) - starts out sad, ends traumatizing, but the story is well-paced, water colored art makes everything feel a bit dreamy, and the sense of doom slowly builds in a way that's perfect for the story. Very French.
