Saw a post talking about how good his outfits are and I noticed that he seems to always has fur or wears coats that have large shoulder pads, I think it’s because he wants to feel and look powerful and assertive since his actual figure is more on the slim/petite side

pov: you have some humanity on you

the reason why modern also looks flatter despite 90s having similar "flat" looking face might be coz less facial proximity (everything looks more "spread" in modern art style)

also lineart "does" have certain effect on the drawing. It gives old art style a certain texture to it

pop art style seems to have less emphasis on the nose + prefers stylized eyes. With the preference for flatter lighter color+shade+bloom filter, it doesn't help to make the impression of flatter "softer" art style

70s-80s anime had flat colors, but they still had detailed nose

always thought modern anime looked more shinier+flatter coz they use softer shading + palette.

old anime tends to have more darker shading (esp. in 90s OVA), and color choice tends to be more bolder

I do believe that Deku’s new suit will basically make him equals with Shoto and Bakugo.

- Bakugo will be the fastest of Trinity
- Shoto will have the highest AP
- Deku will be the most versatile with the highest durability

That’s just my speculation tho
