Capcom is in a very particular position with this IP that I'm very concerned on how they'll approach the next game in the series. Megaman 12 and X9 are obvious choices but these two; are very specific especially since next year is the 20th anniversary for BN. L2 is this year🤔.

Finally, concerning the image in Hino's tweet, it seems to be an early sketch of Inazuma Eleven Great Road's key art by Takuzou Nagano. Which says a lot about the current state of the project — he didn't have anything new and could only show us the sketch of an old concept art.
