I don´t know if they are planning a heist or flirting, but i wanted to give some finishing touches to an old piece from the very bottom of my art folder (I blame my old self for wonky anatomy and composition :p).
I miss traveling, so I wanted to paint something inspired by an old vacation photograph from a few years ago, and giving it a fantasy twist. I started with a rough composition sketch based on my reference, then added colors and rendering:
Was reminded of TMNT: The Last Ronin after playing Shredder's Revenger, and thought of how I wish I never saw the original art for the series by Andy Kuhn, because the new art doesn't work for me at all. Pacing, shot composition, details. It's a shame.
