Well… was fantastic, and I met a lot of spectacular people! I went in having no idea what to expect as a semi-new player, but I was welcomed so warmly by all of the amazing long time players, and even Rare staff! I think I’m still a little dazed by how much fun it was!

Roleplayers do that a lot, you'll never see that on my RP accounts. I'm only using Asteria or game skits. We're lucky to have a bunch of official expression skits in Tales of games to not even NEED to do that!

Just as an example, both these look similar, but I used different approaches. The first is a greyscale to color paiting (about 15 layers), while the other is a multi layers rendering with lineart (50+ layers)-

A in trying to achieve some of the effects creates in her Faeries books, to no avail. Probably too many layers, too muddy color, drawing getting lost at some point... Justin Gerard uses many layers too but somehow it all looks clean and sharp.
