-i always start super duper small, zoomed in on a low rez canvas with a medium sized brush so that i get the gesture and volume down first then keep layering on top and making it bigger before pulling it into the final resolution to work details. U can see it in this playback

@ceconcedilla_ hi, thanks merio. There is a reason, yes. The smaller resolution you use for a piece of pixelart, the more single pixels read like noise. I've been pixeling for 3 decades and "smoothness" wasn't always the goal, clarity is. I do smooth pieces too from time to time
