I just found out that Mika Pikazo who done the art for FE Engage also done FGO Sei Shonagon. Multicolour hair ftw!

For the new Fire emblem Engage, the colors of the protagonists are too bright especially the red on the hair and the cloak so I played with he colors to make it more pleasant to the eye and changed the hair a little bit 👀

It's worth noting that Lyn's Mani Katti in the Fire Emblem Engage trailer is specifically using the design from FE7.
Despite the sword having a redesign for her base form in FEH and another redesign for her recent statue, the hilt and guard design are uniquely from the FE7 OA.
I really like the new FE Engaged protagonist hair but at the same time I know character design wise the red and blue clash so much and makes it... A lot? Like the armor plus the hair makes it look like it's so much going on. I will love them none the less tho. ❤️💙 They're cute

Just confirmed Mika Pikazo as the character designer for Engage. I love this artist & absolutely adore their previous works. It's just my personal opinion that the designs feel a bit out of place in Fire Emblem. Still love them though.
