A piece from "Contort," a set of 3D textures created through an experimental process. Black and white paintings were manipulated in 3D software and ambient lighting was then added resulting in pieces that are moody, fluid and highly intricate.

Opened Blender the other day to move things around and see what happens; few days later I ended up with my first 3D character model.

He's gonna be in a game, eventually. Textures very much not final.

OH THANK GOD, Halo Infinite is going for that painting approach like BOTW did and is pulling it off stunningly!

Definitely still some minor lighting and res textures issues. But I really don't have an issue with them anymore. This game looks amazing.
