The Numbers updated 5/24 bluray sales & Alita again is not in the top 100. That needs to be fixed. May 24th estimated sales were 700 blurays, & Alita profits at 5/24 are estimated at $60 million, an 18% profit. Keep in mind about 1/3 of movies lose money.

Strange, isn’t it, how Alita: Battle Angel has touched so many fans! Not having an Alita sequel leaves an awful hole, doesn’t it? Alita is truly a wonderful franchise! Disney, don’t you see what a mistake it would be to throw it away?

The Alita billboard is a big success. The initial tweet has gotten 411 likes & 5 media outlets have done stories on it. Alita returns to HBO this month this Saturday at 3:25PM & on Wed 6/10 at 9PM, which will likely get big ratings being in prime time.

A great movie is quotable. Alita: Battle Angel had quite a few memorable quotes which revealed Alita’s nobility and her courage. Alita was a candle in the darkness. Don’t let that candle die out. Greenlight a sequel.

Not only did Alita: Battle Angel have stunningly beautiful visual effects, but there was a beautiful score & Alita was a beautiful character. Alita was a godsend & the proper response is for Disney to wish her sequel “Godspeed!”
